Rules

I. Dungeon Rules of Conduct

The rules are very simple and are considered *mandatory conduct*. Anyone who breaks these rules will be subject to immediate reprimand in the group, removal from the group, demotion within the guild, and/or dismissal from the guild depending on what level of idiotic behavior you have stooped to.

We are not talking about honest mistakes - those happen. We are talking about BLATANT DISREGARD for your group and for the good name of Arcane Valor. These rules are not negotiable and are from the Sovereign of Arcane Valor... currently Ragestrider, the Wielder of the Sacred 52lb Grouper Sceptre.

Do I have to say this people?? Arcane Valor is not a *loot whore* guild. Loot is nice and it helps pay the bills, makes us look cool, or even gives us the edge in battle - BUT LOOT IS NOT THE MAIN GOAL OF THIS GUILD!!! In keeping with our code of honor, I present these rules:

  1. No looting during battle - It is rude, ridiculous and rather obnoxious to loot during battle. It is distracting and can get your group killed. Loot can wait!

    ZERO TOLERANCE

  2. We roll for any BOE (Bind on Equip) green, blue, and purple. We pass on anything BOP (Bind on Pickup). For BOP items, we discuss need. If no one needs the item, we roll. If we have an enchanter in the group, we roll for the shard - If you need something, we want you to have it. BUT - you are not *entitled* to need roll on every piece of loot and you are not *entitled* to go to a dungeon with the expectation that you get to have all loot.

If you need something, that means YOU need it NOW. Not later, not for an alt, not for your friend, not to sell at auction. You need it to be better and you are going to use it immediately. Need is to be discussed. Don't need a cloth BOP item if you wear Plate for crying out loud! GREED IS NOT GOOD WHEN YOU ARE BEING A SELFISH LOUT.

    ZERO TOLERANCE

II. General Rules

  1. If you allow someone else to play your toon and they behave contrary to what Arcane Valor stands for - you will be held responsible.

  2. Guildchat is designated for in-character (role-play) purposes. We have an OOC (Out of Character) chat channel that is very easy to join: /join ArcaneValorOOC. Please limit your use of guildchat for OOC discussions and make use of this special channel.

  3. OOC outbursts directed at other guild members such as name-calling, threats, overall rudeness, etc. will not be tolerated and could result in being removed from the guild at the discretion of the guild leader.
